Winsdee

Do any of you have grandparents that pronounce all days of the week with the suffix –dee?

Mondee.

Tuesdee.

Wednesdee.

Winsdee.

Isn’t that just the perfect name for a stuffed bear? Just a ratty old thing, with one beaded eye perhaps a little lower than the other, due to age and too much squeezing. Winsdee, the bear, with a velveteen tummy and round little ears. A little crushed around the middle, the size of two little arms intent on squeezing the stuffing out.

Winsdee is simply the perfect name for a stuffed bear.

    1. It used to bother me too, but now I kinda see it as cute. I dunno, it just shows a lot about a person’s personality. It seems typical of people who cultivate food, though. All the farmers I know say days of the week with -dee.
